David Savage, Senior Business Development Manager

Mr. Savage is an Infigen Energy Senior Business Development Manager for wind and solar projects throughout the U.S. Prior to joining Infigen, he was a Senior Renewable Energy Developer with RES Americas beginning in 2007. While with RES, he developed 3300 megawatts of wind energy projects throughout the country’s midsection and he also developed 54 MW of solar PV projects in the southwest. Prior to RES Americas, Mr. Savage was the Program Manager for WindLogics, Inc. for three years, where he managed large wind integration studies for Independent System Operators and utilities throughout the U.S. He also managed the corporate integration when WindLogics was acquired by FPLE Energy (Nextera).

Mr. Savage was a commissioned officer in the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) for 20 years prior to his career in the wind energy industry. During his 20 years with NOAA, Mr. Savage gained extensive experience in meteorology, both as a manager and scientist. He received a Master of Science in Environmental Science and Policy from Johns Hopkins University and has had specialized management and Six Sigma training from NOAA and FPL Energy, respectively.

Newton F. Hamlin, CEO, Entrepreneur

Following graduate study in communications and business at Northwestern and University of Texas at Austin, Newt Hamlin joined ALCOA, rising to a senior management position in its aerospace division. Following a stint with appliance manufacturer Whirlpool Corporation he founded his first company in 1971.
